We concluded the month with 2 more National Park stops. we stopped at Visalia to visit Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park. and a week in the Palm Springs area, Desert Hot Springs, to go to Joshua Tree National Park.
While in Desert Hot Springs, we did visit “old town” Palm Springs, General Patton Memorial Museum and hiked in Morongo Canyon. The museum is an overview of the over 20,000 people who supported and trained for the African challenge against Rommel.

I’ve probably said it before but I’ll say it again – WOW! Carol and I saw some Sequoia’s at Yosemite but didn’t make it to Kings Canyon. Interesting info about Patton and the folks that trained around Palm Springs. Reminds me of the WW II troops that trained near Leadville, CO for fighting in the snow in Europe. Things are good here. Body pump and spinning still going strong at the Y.
Thanks for the info
Be safe out there

Hi Allen and Carol,
It is great seeing these. It was great visiting the parks. We are still having a great time. Missing the family but had a chance to interact with a 2 & 4 year old earlier this week.
Still looking at Alexia’s Y page. The gang is still there. Take care.
